Handcrafted in Foshan from supple ivory nappa leather framed in high-gloss black lacquer and tipped with brushed brass sabots, the V49 lounge chair channels the Italian art of vertical capitonné tufting into a curved, wing-like silhouette that wraps the sitter in quiet drama.
Design & Craftsmanship
The interior back is hand-tufted in deep vertical channels, the rhythmic piping sculpting a continuous fluted line that catches light along the cream leather. A wraparound backrest rises into soft wing-like curves, cradling the shoulders while the lacquered exterior shell frames the upholstery in a single unbroken arc. The contrast between ivory nappa and piano-black lacquer is sharpened by hand-polished brass foot caps, each sabot set to anchor the piece with measured, jeweller-like precision.
