Design & Craftsmanship
Verdura is composed around one virtuoso gesture: a book-matched burl-walnut surface, lacquered to a depth that reads like liquid amber, resting on two geometric plinths of mirror-polished gold. Around it, chairs are tailored in deep emerald leather on the outer shell and cream on the seat and inner back, each diamond-quilted in the tradition of the great European maisons, with sinuous embracing arms and dark lacquered legs. The alternation of cold gold and warm wood, of jewel-tone leather and ivory, builds the quiet tension of a formal dining room designed to be remembered.
