Can you make it to my custom size?
Yes — almost always. Made-to-order means the frame is built around your measurement, not trimmed to fit one. Alcoves, low ceilings, an oversized double-door entry, a sofa for a corner with a column in the middle: these are the commissions our workshop genuinely enjoys. Send your dimensions, even rough ones, and we will confirm the proportion before a single board is cut.
Do you work from my own drawings or a photo of a piece I love?
We do. Bring a photograph, a magazine page, or a sketch, and our team will translate it into a buildable design in the same materials and Italian-inspired lines we work in daily. The honest caveat: we will not copy another maker’s trademarked design, but we can absolutely deliver the spirit of what you admire.
Can I see a 3D proposal before production begins?
Yes, and we recommend it. For anything beyond a minor size change, you should see the piece rendered from the angles that matter — the front elevation, the side profile, the way a leg meets a frame. This is the point where small misunderstandings get caught and where you can still move an armrest or change a seat depth without cost.

Which leathers can I choose?
Full-grain hides are our starting point, and within that we work with Nappa for its buttery softness and aniline leather for a finish that keeps the natural markings of the hide visible. Full-grain keeps the outermost layer of the hide intact, so the piece wears in and softens over years rather than peeling or cracking. Ask for swatches in daylight — leather colour reads very differently under showroom spotlights.
What other upholstery do you offer?
Velvet and bouclé sit alongside our leathers, each with a character of its own. Velvet catches light and suits a formal drawing room; bouclé is the quieter, tactile choice for a relaxed family sofa. We will be straight with you about which fabric is honest for heavy daily use and which is better reserved for a lower-traffic spot.
Which marbles can I have for a top or a console?
We regularly work with Carrara and Calacatta, and we will book-match the marble so the veining flows across the surface like one continuous stone rather than four separate slices. Because each slab is unique, we show you the actual stone before we commit it to your piece. If book-matching matters to you — and it should for a dining or sideboard top — say so early.
Which woods do you build in?
Walnut, oak, rosewood, and macassar are the staples, each offering a different grain and temperament. Walnut warms a room, oak is the workhorse, rosewood and macassar bring the darker, more dramatic figure that suits statement pieces. If you need the wood tone to tie into existing joinery, send us a sample or photograph of what is already in your home.
What about the hardware and metal finishes?
Brushed and antique gold are our signatures, and both can be tuned to sit quietly or shine depending on the piece. Metal finishes are an easy place to save or spend, so be specific about what you picture — a whisper of antique gold can be the difference between a sofa that competes with the room and one that completes it.

How is the price actually set — and what makes one quote higher than another?
Price follows specification, not guesswork. Is it made entirely by hand?
Every piece is hand-finished — that is the honest and accurate claim. Machine cutting may rough out a frame for speed and consistency, but the final character of the work comes from hand fitting, hand stitching, and hand finishing that a machine cannot reproduce. The difference you will feel is in the seams, the edges, and the way the piece settles. Since 1996 we have worked this way, and we see no reason to change.
What does the ten-year warranty actually cover?
It covers the structural frame of the piece — the quiet promise behind every sofa, chair, and bed we build: the joinery and the frame will hold. Fabrics and finishes wear according to use and care, which is no reflection on the maker, so we keep that distinction honest and clear in writing before you sign.
How long does a made-to-order piece take?
It depends entirely on the scale of the piece and where it sits in the finishing queue — there is no honest single number we can give you that would be true for every order. A small side table moves faster than a full book-matched marble dining suite, and a busy season stretches every wait. Ask for a timeline on your specific commission at the point of order, and we will give you a real estimate for that piece.
Will I know exactly what I am paying for before I approve it?
Yes. We itemise the materials, the finishing, and the specification in writing, and nothing moves into production until you have signed off. If the piece changes in a way that alters cost — a larger hide, a rarer book-matched slab — you hear about it before we proceed, never after.

Can you supply a whole room, or even a full interior project?
We can, and it is where we shine. Commissioning a complete room at once means the leather, the marble, the wood tones, and the metal finishes are specified as one coherent scheme instead of five separate accidents. It also simplifies your logistics: one point of contact, one delivery plan, one standard of quality across every surface.
Do you ship to my country?
We export across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, and to more than fifteen countries in total. Every shipment is packed for the distance it travels, and we will be clear about your door-to-door expectations before you commit. If your country is not on that list, ask anyway — we will tell you plainly whether we can serve you.
Can I visit the showroom or factory?
Yes, by appointment, in Foshan, China. We hold a 200,000-square-metre factory and a 10,000-square-metre showroom, and both are open to serious buyers who book ahead. There is no substitute for running your hand over a full-grain hide or seeing how a marble slab takes light in person, and we welcome the visit precisely because it makes the later decisions easier.

For velvet, regular light vacuuming with a soft brush keeps it fresh, and we will give you a care sheet specific to your fabric when your piece ships. The right care is simple; the wrong products cause more damage than neglect ever does.
Will marble and wood need special treatment?
Marble asks only that you seal it and wipe up acidic spills — wine, citrus, coffee — without delay, and it will reward you for decades. Wood wants the same respect for extremes of humidity and heat that any fine furniture does. Book-matched marble is a natural stone with natural variation, and part of its charm is that no two homes will own an identical top.
Do you give care instructions in writing with each delivery?
